Cacao ceremony is a sacred time and space for ourselves in this busy and stressful world, it’s time to detach from the chaos outside and dive into the silence within, to feel the energy of the heart, discover the subtle powers of Ixcacao, the Goddess of fertility and love, inviting us to connect with our true nature, which is pure joy, spontaneity, energy and love.

Whether you want to open up to new love, love yourself or deepen your current relationship, release emotional blocks, let go of old pattern, or just to feel good, the Cacao ceremony can bring you all of that and much, much more.

The Ceremony and the Journey

We will gather in a safe circle space, We will start the ceremony with a healing heart meditation, during which we will have a quiet time to contemplate the sacred “Drink of Gods”. The sacred Cacao will deepen our connection to the body, soul and to the Elements, opening us to love and acceptance, without limits, judgments or attachments.

Later Freya and John will guide you through a healing shamanic journey into the depths of your own being. With movement and meditation you will be invited to go deeper into your intentions, remove obstacles, heal yourself and celebrate your aliveness. At the pinnacle of the Ceremony  you will be guided through a Fire Breath ritual to charge  up your intentions into manifestation.

Important note

• You will receive a drink containing approx.30-40 mg of pure raw cacao.
  *Not recommended for pregnant women and people with heart problems and depression.
• To take full advantage of the ceremony, it is recommended not to eat too much before the ceremony. The longer the period of fasting, the more effective the cocoa will be. Stay in touch with yourself and feel how long of fasting is best for you.
• Bring a bottle of water, drink a lot, also after the ceremony.
• Avoid caffeine, alcohol, or other stimulants throughout the day
• Come 5-10 minutes earlier to be able to meet with other participants and tune in to the ceremony
• After we start the ceremony, no one will be allowed to enter the group room, not to disturb the meditation, so please be on time.

Drink of the Gods

Cacao was traditionally used by the Mayans and Aztecs as a sacred healing plant for journeying to spiritual realms. They believed that cacao harmonized the imbalance between mind and heart, helping open one’s heart to feel compassion and unconditional love.

The Incas considered cacao “the drink of gods”, an association that gave rise to the scientific name of the cocoa tree, Theobroma cacao, from the Greek words theo (god) and broma (drink). Cacao’s Theobromine, alongside magnesium and its many other chemical compounds, alleviate the nervous system.
